All successful painting is structured on fundamental principles. If you can control them then you begin to master them; in this class you learn what they are and how to use them in your artwork.
Learn how to correctly draw, train eye-hand coordination, judge value and color, work with shape and edges to gain confidence and skills that will take your work to a new level.
I work with each artist and also with the group to learn and use these essential elements, building competence. You can use oil paint, watercolor, acrylic or mixed media. Expect individual attention and between class assignments.

Portrait & Figure Painting Class.

Level: intermediate and advanced.
Working with a live model, in this class, you will identify strengths and master techniques for better painting. You will learn how to "see" the model, simplify anatomy, mix skin tones, create likeness and gesture.
